Energy Policy Forum

From research to policy insight

ERPG encourages deep engagement between academics and industry stakeholders.

The Energy Policy Forum (EPF) was established by EPRG to facilitate knowledge exchange between its members—energy companies, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and policy makers—and the research group.

EPF members are actively engaged in informing EPRG’s research agenda and help us identify important and urgent policy questions. Deep engagement gives researchers insight into how the energy industry works and how energy policy can be better designed.

In turn, EPF members benefit from world-class research insight and the opportunity to establish close relationships with the research group and with peers in EPRG’s industry and government network. Membership can enhance strategic thinking by understanding regulatory and political risks, and anticipating policy change in the UK and EU.

EPF members participate in EPRG’s bi-annual research seminars, annual international research conference, bi-annual Energy Policy Dinners, and regular webinars. They are represented on EPRG’s Advisory Board which is chaired by Dermot Nolan, former CEO of Ofgem, who is also a fellow of Cambridge Judge Business School.
