Research Interests: empirical economics, distributional consequences of carbon taxes, sustainable fuel policy, climate change driven conflict and the natural resource curse. 

Biography: Jordan received his M.A. degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2017 and his MSc in Economics from KU Leuven in 2018. Previously, he has conducted research on the optimal public policy to promote sustainable fuel sources. As a research assistant he will be working with Dr Chyong on modelling gas markets with focus on storage issues, demand side responses and long term supply security. His research interests include empirical and experimental methods in energy policy and how environmental issues threaten developing countries.
