Background: Dr Bowei Guo is an assistant professor at the School of Applied Economics at Renmin University of China. Bowei received his PhD in July 2020, supervised by Dr Melvyn Weeks and advised by Prof David Newbery. Bowei’s research focuses on the British Energy Market Reform and its lessons to other developing countries such as China.
