Biography: Eoghan is a secod year PhD student of Economics. He previously obtained an MPhil in Economic Research at Cambridge and studied Mathematics and Economics at Trinity College Dublin for his undergraduate degree. His current research project is titled “Estimation of Conditional Average Treatment Effects Using Many Covariates – An Application to Electricity Smart Meter Trial Data”. Eoghan is interested in describing the heterogeneity of electricity demand response by applying machine learning methods to electricity smart meter data.
