Biography: Giuliana is a Professor of the Economics of Innovation at Warwick Business School, a Trustee, member of the Council of the Royal Economics Society and a member of the Executive committee of the British Network of Industrial Economists. Her main research interests concern applied economics and econometrics. She is particularly interested in the generation (R&D and patents) and the diffusion of innovations such as new technologies, products and practices. Her work has appeared in Oxford Bulletin of Economics, Research Policy, International Journal of Industrial Economics, British Journal of Management, Harvard Business Review, Industrial and Corporate Change. She has been an advisor on innovation policy for various governments and international organizations.
