Biography: Dr Hannula is a Senior Energy Analyst at the IEA where he is leading the Agency’s analytical work on renewable energy technologies and assessing the role of renewables in IEA long-term scenarios and roadmaps, with specific focus to help decarbonizing the global economy.
Ilkka Hannula holds a Doctoral degree from the Aalto University School of Engineering. He was previously a visiting researcher at the Energy Systems Analysis Group of Princeton University in 2011, and a Fortum Foundation visiting scholar at EPRG in 2016.
