Biography: Pedro Linares is Professor of Industrial Engineering at Comillas University, Director of the BP Chair on Energy and Sustainability, and co-director and founder of Economics for Energy. He currently serves as Director of Comillas International Doctoral School. Editor of Papeles de Energía. His current research focuses on the technical and economic challenges that the energy transition places, particularly on the transport, power and industrial sectors, and on the design of policies that may help overcome those challenges. He has published about these topics, and also about decision making methods, in the most prestigious journals in the field. He he has also led many research projects for institutions and companies in Europe and Latin America.
