Research Topic: The Politics of Carbon Capture and Storage
Research Interest: Security and environmental change, the role of NGOs and social movements in policy processes, theories of international relations, globalization of politics
Background: Olaf Corry gained a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Copenhagen in 2006 studying the globalization of social movement politics. From 2008-2010 he was research associate and affiliated lecturer at the Centre of International Studies in Cambridge studying risk logics in security practices and the security implications of climate change. Olaf has also worked in the Danish parliament as a speech writer and policy advisor on energy, security and climate change.
